The 2025 Tennessee FFA State Convention was recently held March 23-26th at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, TN, and the TWHBEA-sponsored awards were presented by TWHBEA CEO, Mark Farrar.

 

Skylar Baird of the Wilson Central FFA Chapter was this year's state Equine Science Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award winner. Skylar also served as the Middle Tennessee Vice President on the 2024-2025 State Officer team.

 

Mallory Johnson of the Cookeville FFA Chapter was this year's state Equine Science Placement Proficiency Award winner. Mallory is a student at Murray State University and a member of the collegiate rifle team, and her brother Blake, who is alsoa member of Cookeville FFA, was there to receive the award on her behalf.
