Taylor LeGate, a lifelong member of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry and a World Champion exhibitor, is excited to bring her genuine passion for the Walking Horse to her new role with The Walking Horse Report.

With four generations of her family deeply involved in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry, Taylor has developed a profound appreciation for the people, traditions and values that make this community so unique. Her background has equipped her with a strong understanding of the breed and the individuals who work tirelessly to support it.

At just 23, Taylor has already earned multiple World Championships and has been recognized by her peers in both the Tennessee Walking Horse and Spotted Saddle Horse industries. In her free time, she can often be found helping her family at Dan Waddell Stables or in the show ring aboard her pride and joy, Sir With Honor—the current Four-Year-Old Mares & Geldings Reserve World Champion.

Taylor is committed to highlighting the people and horses who continue to shape the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. She is proud to represent a publication with such a storied legacy and even prouder to help carry forward the stories behind the horses we love.

“We are really excited to welcome Taylor to our Walking Horse Report team,” said Walking Horse Report Publisher, Jeffrey Howard. “Her knowledge of both the Walking Horse and Spotted Saddle Horse industries will be a valuable addition to our team.”
