Kevin Lee Finley, age 63 of Greenbriar departed this life on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky. He was born on Friday, April 6th, 1962, in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Charles Glenn and June Davis Finley. To those who knew him, Kevin was affectionately known as "Big Chew."

To mourn his passing, he leaves his sister: Debra Finley Roberts and her husband Rusty of Manchester, his brother: Morris Glenn Finley and his wife Catherine of Manchester, his sister: Renee Finley Smith and her husband Kenny of Manchester. He is lovingly remembered by 11 nieces and nephews: Brandon Roberts, Lora Roberts Reid, Betsy Roberts Reynolds, Emily Finley Levey, Charles Samuel Finley, Andrew Finley, Abram Finley, Isabelle Finley, Dalia Smith Harr, Molly Smith, and Annabelle Smith Holt. Eight great nieces and nephews also survive him: Madeline Levey, Sophie Roberts, Benjamin Roberts, Finley Reynolds, John Tyler Reynolds, Lyla Reid, Charlotte Finley, and Maxwell Finley. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family members, including his dear cousin, Tim Finley.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and June Davis Finley, and by his niece: Jane Whitney Finley.

For many years, Kevin served his community through his work with the Kentucky Department of Transportation, always finding joy in keeping the roads safe during winter by spreading salt and plowing snow.

Kevin was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for animals and a lifelong devotion to music. He was also a proud and loyal supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats. Among the many animals he cared for, a few held especially dear places in his heart: his loyal dog, Brownie, and his beloved horses, Pride's Kojack and Smoke's Freaky Friday. Kevin held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, whom he adored. To them, he carried joy in his pocket-often in the form of Juicy Fruit Gum, a piece of candy, or a funny face that made you laugh. His playful soul and giving heart will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Heart and Soul Life Center of Manchester. Donations can be made at: www.heartandsoullifecenter.com/donate or mailed
