Equine Obituary – Line’s Moose Munch

Moose foaled a beautiful filly by Jose’ Jose’ on September 1, 2024, but everything changed on September 14, 2024, and continued to worsen thru October, 22, 2024. Moose coliced four times and had two abdominal surgeries at Iowa State Veterinary Hospital in Ames, Iowa. On October 22, 2024, Moose had another bout with colic and it was decided to humanely euthanize her. All the doctors, students and care takers fell in love with Moose and her gentle ways.

We would like to thank everyone involved with Moose over the years. Mackenzie Morgan for training her during her time at Stonewall Farm. To Keith Johnson of Shelbyville, Tennessee, for riding Moose to a world championship and world grand championship in the Three-Year-Old Country Pleasure division in 2020.

Line’s Moose Munch was special and will be greatly missed.
