Robert Holt Hauk, 83, of Kingsport, TN passed away peacefully at home June 9, 2026. Born on February 15th, 1943, he lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, hard work, and devotion to those he loved. His love and dedication will be remembered and treasured by all who knew him.
Bob shared a beautiful marriage with his loving wife of 58 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather and cherished all the memories made with his family.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn; children Greg (Susanna);Grant (Heather);Mandy Thompson (Brent Thompson);J.T (Kristen); 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many friends and family.
Bob was a proud Vietnam veteran that courageously served his country. His love ran deep for Tennessee Walking Horses, golf, and craftsmanship of many things. He was a man of devoted faith and loved the Lord wholeheartedly. He will always be remembered for his goofy stories and contagious smile. He will be remembered not only for what he did, but for how he made people feel—valued, supported, and loved. Though he will be greatly missed, his legacy of kindness, laughter, and devotion will live on through the many lives he touched.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026 at Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sharon Amstutz officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Robert’s body was donated to science.
