Charity Diane Haynes Latham, age 52, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Charity was born April 13, 1973 in Greer, South Carolina, beloved daughter of Broadus Ted Haynes and Susan Marie Belue Haynes. She was a devoted wife, cherished family member, and loving friend who found joy in every moment spent with her loved ones. She was married to David Latham for 30 wonderful years, a loving mother of four and grandmother of three, together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Charity’s passions included caring for and showing her prized horses, shopping for treasures, and sharing her talents in the kitchen. She generously gave her time as a volunteer at TESA, always seeking ways to help others in her community. Charity will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the deep love she held for her family and friends. Her legacy of compassion and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family members Charity leaves behind to cherish their memories include her husband, David Latham; mother, Susan Haynes; son, Craig Latham (Alex); daughters, Lydia Latham, Ashley Latham Buckalew (Brandon) and Makayla Latham; grandchildren, Chloe Latham, Emily Latham and Matthew Latham; special friends, Heather, Levi, Eli and Loralei Ray.

Her father, Broadus Ted Haynes, preceded Charity in death.

Services for Charity will be September 6, 2025 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends and guests for visitation between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00pm with the funeral service beginning at 4:00pm. Officiating services will be Brother Steve Beam and Brother Brock Johnson. Pallbearers escorting Charity to her final resting place in Hebron Church of Christ Cemetery will be Bo Beam, Blake Beam, Brandon Buckelew, Roger Smith, John Latham and Tyler Brugh. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
