MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Walking Horse Owners' Association invites everyone to the 48th Annual International Grand Championship, happening July 14–25, 2026, at TN Miller Coliseum, 304 W. Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
For nearly two weeks, you'll enjoy some of the finest Tennessee Walking Horses in the industry as exhibitors from across the country come together for exciting competition, great sportsmanship, and fun for the whole family.
This year's championship will also include a patriotic salute as we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary, making it a great time to gather with friends and family and enjoy this special tradition.
Best of all, admission is FREE and the event is open to the public!

In 1954, she married Bobby Gene Beckham, and together they raised their daughters in Clifton, Tennessee, where Dorothy worked as a supervisor for Clifton Manufacturing Company.

Effective June 30th with The Prodigy qualifiers, SHOW judges will be reinstating and enforcing the rule of horses entering the ring at a flat walk and proceeding past a set marker so the horse’s way of going can be evaluated for locomotion.
