The Tennessee Walking Horse industry mourns the loss of Honor And Salute, a two-time World Champion, who was humanely laid to rest following complications from a rare type of colic.

While his accomplishments in the show ring established his place among the sport’s celebrated competitors, it was his exceptional personality and kind disposition that made him truly unforgettable. Honor And Salute was a barn favorite, beloved by everyone who had the opportunity to spend time around him. His presence brought something special to the barn, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

“He had the best personality of any horse I’ve ever owned and a heart of gold. He was a natural, had a big way of going with supreme presence that came so easy to him. He will be truly missed,” said Clay Mills.
